Spray tanning has become very popular in the UK, here at Beauty Plus we use
Fake Bake - a leading salon professional self tan and spray tan brand, it has
become the choice of beauty experts and celebrities alike.
Fake Bake originated in the U.S.A. in 1995 and was the first self tan to combine
naturally derived tanning agents DHA and Erythulose – guaranteeing longer
lasting (up to 50% longer) and more natural-looking results.
Fake Bake has been hailed as the Rolls Royce of spray tanning.
Clients will have an initial consultation on arrival to establish tanning
requirements.
All treatments are carried out by qualified therapists who ensure the correct
amount of product is applied to your skin. The spray tan application takes around
10 - 15 minutes in our salon.
You will be advised what to do before and after application.
The application consists of an exfoliation and targeted moisturising treatment to
prepare your skin. After this your skin is cleansed and the self tan is applied.
You can opt for additional skin care benefits to be incorporated into the
treatment - anti-ageing (on the face) and anti-oxidant protection (full body).
You can choose from 2 different self tan liquids – Original, Dark and now Gold -
which was launched in April 2011. You will be advised as to which is most suited
to your skin tone.
The tan is applied to your skin as a mist via a spray gun used by the beauty
professional. She can tailor your tan to your specific requirements or for a
particular occasion.
